Weekend Update... dresses, cake and more!

Hello Ladies!!!

What a weekend. The cake is ordered, we stayed under budget, $1100 ($100.00 each), which is great and Lindsay made some breakthroughs. On Saturday morning, April, Lindsay and Justin went down to La Salle Bakery and tasted the cakes! The final decision is RED VELVET, 4 tier, square, slightly off centered layers, with a lace treatment on the bottom two tiers. And get this ladies, THE COLORS HAVE BEEN CHANGED! After a visit to the venue, Aspire, Lindsay became inspired by the restaurant decor and decided to change the theme from Hot Pink Zebra to Mauve. Please contact April in regard to payments for the cake.

Following the trip to the bakery, we took part in a great celebration for Tatiana Arielle Taylor's first BIRTHDAY! I must say, this little girl knows how to party. The theme was Mini Mouse, around the house were balloons, photos, pink Mini Mouse banners, a Mini Mouse cake made by yours truly(Beth), and the best part was Tatiana Princess Smooshi dressed up in a Mini Mouse outfit! This little girl is loved by so many, she has a wardrobe that will make anyone of us jealous, a pink vw bug from her Auntie April and toys designed for baby genius'. She's amazing and growing so fast.

This morning, we made our way to David's Bridal and began the search for our Bridesmaid dress. There were of 8 us in attendance; Lindsay, Lauren, April, Beth, Crystal, Jess, Stefanie, and Tori. We tried a bunch of dresses on, including one at Providence Place. We're considering one dress as of right now, found at David's Bridal, long, black and flattering on all bodies. Stay tuned.

  1. Hi, everyone. This is Lindsay's soon-to-be sister-in-law Emilie (I'm Justin's brother's wife). I LOVE that bridesmaid's dress! It's gorgeous. Let me know the name and address of who and where to send my check to for the cake. It sounds great. I don't know Providence at all so I don't have any ideas about the bachelorette party, but if there is a way I can help, let me know. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
