Lindsays Mom

Lindsays mom wants to have a bridal shower for her side of the family. I told her Lindsay was strongly against the idea, but she should have something still and call it something else---like an engagement party or cookout in honor of the couple. She wants all of us bridesmaids to attend on July 23rd. I unfortunatly have a wedding, but hope all of you can make it=) It will be very casual at her sisters house with a pool. Lastly, she is concerned about registering Lindsay. Any ideas>?
